Stainless Steel Maintenance-Free Rod End Bearings – SPOSB..EC & SPHSB..EC Inch Series

INR Bearings supplies stainless steel maintenance-free inch rod end bearings for applications requiring corrosion resistance, smooth oscillating movement and reliable long-term performance.

The SPOSB..EC series features a male external thread, while the SPHSB..EC series features a female internal thread. Inch bore sizes and unified threads are available to meet different equipment, replacement and OEM requirements.

Our stainless steel rod ends are available with AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel housings, combined with hardened AISI 420, 440 or 440C stainless steel spherical balls and a PTFE self-lubricating liner.

The PTFE sliding layer provides low-friction movement and a maintenance-free design without routine re-lubrication. Different stainless steel material combinations can be selected according to operating conditions, corrosion-resistance requirements and target cost.

AISI 304 stainless steel provides good general corrosion resistance and is suitable for many industrial, food-processing, packaging and automation applications.

AISI 316 stainless steel provides enhanced resistance to chlorides and aggressive environments and is suitable for marine, coastal, chemical-processing, wash-down and outdoor applications.

AISI 420, 440 and 440C stainless steels provide different combinations of hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and cost. Material combinations can be selected according to the customer’s application and technical requirements.
